The first really RPG that I played was Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, unless Crash Bandicoot counts as an role you can play haha.
I have a strong love for Zelda and as much as I want to, I haven't gotten to play all the games. The last one I played was Breath of the Wind and it was spectacular. The open world game play, the ability to play it like it was an mmo, and what seemed like endless content, DLC's included in that of course.
